JKing Dance Company (JKDC) presents 'RelinQuish' on May 3rd, 2014 at 3p.m. & 8 p.m.

Come join us on May 3rd when JKDC, for our 3rd season performs at The Ailey Citigroup Theater /Joan Weill Center for Dance in NYC. JKDC will present the critically acclaimed and audience favorite 'LISTEn', plus our newest works to premier, 'Com*part*mental*Eyes' ~ section A and B', which includes original music by composer Kevin Keller.
Known for our accessibility, JKDC continues to offer a Q & A. Our desire is to bring a deeper understanding of JKDC's work and process, combined with learning what our audiences experience through these talk back sessions. As Marilyn Larkin/Explore Dance (2013) wrote, "that I actively engaged in the speculation and possible interpretations is a testament to the power of all three pieces to draw the audience in--in a sense, inviting us to share in the creative process by triggering our own sensibilities and experiences".
