WASSAIL!

Wassailing is an old Winter tradition of blessing the orchard, to ensure that the trees wake up from their Winter slumber and produce a good harvest in the year to come. At Dragons Head Cider, our first Wassail was in 2020. Because of the pandemic, we have missed the opportunity for the last two years, but this year we are hoping to continue our own Wassailing traditions with our community by our side in the orchard.

Tickets are $45 and available pre-sale only through Brown Paper Tickets. Children 12 and under are free.

Your ticket will provide you with admission to the event, food from Matt Dillon of Old Chaser Farm, and one drink ticket good for a glass of cider (for those 21+) or a non-alcoholic beverage. Additional cider drink tickets will be available for purchase.

This event will happen rain or shine. The orchard must be blessed either way! So please be prepared. Wear warm winter clothing, good footwear for the orchard, and bring an umbrella if it's raining.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 22, 4 - 7PM

4pm - Gates open, Food and Cider is served

5pm - The Royal Wassailing Court will be selected and performances will begin

6pm - Orchard Blessing - Everyone is welcome to participate! Bring noise makers - pots and pans, drums, horns, or other instruments.
