Children's Film Festival Seattle 2023
About Children's Film Festival Seattle is a cinematic extravaganza that celebrates the best and brightest in international films for children, including animation, feature length films, short films and hands-on workshops!
Since 2005, Children's Film Festival Seattle has grown to become the largest film festival on the West Coast dedicated to children and families. Each year, CFFS provides a joyous and dynamic environment that inspires young people to participate as agents of change in their local and global communities. While staying committed to racial and gender equity, inclusivity, social justice and global awareness, the festival showcases the best age-appropriate visual storytelling for young people.
Through films, workshops, field trips, and filmmaker discussions, Children's Film Festival Seattle shows young audiences the world and feeds their imaginations!
*** Important Passholder Notes ***
If you've purchased an In-Person or Hybrid festival pass and are visiting the Forum in person, well be able to look you up by the name you purchased under at will call. Our cinema is located at 1515 12th Avenue, in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Please arrive early! Your pass does not guarantee seating availability. At each show, we hold a percentage of seats in the cinema for passholders, but they are first-come, first-served. 10 minutes before showtime, we will begin releasing passholder seats to individual ticket buyers. We will seat any remaining passholders as best we can within ten minutes of showtime.
REFUNDS: Hybrid and Virtual-Only Passes are non-refundable. Contact Managing Director Chris Day (chris@nwfilmforum.org) regarding refunds.
*** Community Passes ***
NWFF offers a limited number of free festival passes for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disabled, and/or low-income patrons who would not be able to attend due to financial reasons. Read more and reserve your pass (by Jan. 23, please!) at bit.ly/nwfffestpass

Accessibility
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at maria@nwfilmforum.org
