Terra Marin Presents "Fiddler on the Roof"
The students of Terra Marin are eager to present Fiddler on the Roof to our school community on March 10th, 11th and 12th.
The Broadway hit Fiddler on the Roof is renowned for its central theme and emphasis on Jewish customs in the early 1900s. This musical's storyline delves deeply into Jewish identity, traditions, and relationships. Throughout this trying period in history, Jews were excluded and punished for being who they were. They had to firmly hang on to their traditions and ideals no matter what challenges were thrown their way. However, as the times changed, some people started to doubt various aspects of tradition, particularly the practice of arranged marriages. While vividly illustrating Jewish customs, Fiddler on the Roof also depicts the world as it changes through time.
Please come to the show multiple times! Invite your family, friends and neighbors! There is nothing like performing to a full house! Let's do it for our students who worked so hard to get here.
