Meet the Cheesemakers: Whatcom County
Come learn about cheese, cheesemakers, and cheesemaking in Washington state! This fun and delicious educational seminar will be led by Courtney Johnson, Executive Director of the Washington State Cheesemakers Association. Dr. Johnson will talk about the wide world of Washington cheese, explain how cheese is made, and lead a panel discussion featuring four local cheesemakers. The panel will include a guided tasting of cheeses made by each of the cheesemakers. After the seminar there will be a short meet-and-greet session with the possibility to buy cheese directly from the makers.
