Climbing Poetree + Leah Song (Rising Appalachia) Workshop and Performance
Climbing Poetree and Leah Song of Rising Appalachia ft. Biko Casini will be doing a music and movement infused arts activism Workshop. During the workshop Climbing Poetree will also incorporate their story gathering project: S.T.I.T.C.H.E.D. With over 6,000 stories collected to date, participants will have an opportunity to interact and contribute to this ever growing tapestry. Leah Song will help participants explore sound vibration and body movement as tools for self-awareness. The space is created to help each participant to embody the physical art of making sound from all the many resonators in the body.
This ticket will also include an intimate performance by the two groups on a beautiful farm near Pauwela Cannery, Haiku. Once you purchase your ticket you will be given the location of the event.
