Tara DeFrancisco & the mini Harold immersion!
Lauded Chicago performer & teacher Tara DeFrancisco comes home to do a mini-immersion on the Harold. Don't know it? No problem. Someone explained to you poorly? We'll fix it. Wanna play with reckless abandon and understand the piece so the structure serves you, and not the other way around? Let's do it. Structured & organic openings, theme, first beat creation, game slots, and overall piece will be played with many times, with direct notes and talkback (plus lots of hugs!).
Tara has taught at iO Chicago, iO West in LA, Second City, and ComedySportz - and has even traveled the world teaching and performing improv (47 states, the UK, Canada, Denmark and Finland). She is also a commercial actor known for her Las Vegas television spots, two pilots/series (Spill & Delusions of Grandeur), and has won many awards for comedy performance over the last ten years. She is on staff at iO Chicago and teaches several levels at the theatre, as well as helped with the design of level 1 & 5 (advanced Harold).
Moreover, Tara is known as a performer in the theaters mentioned above, tourIng vet of the Second City, alum of Baby Wants Candy. She is currently on teams the Deltones, Chaos Theory, and the sole member of her own weekly show, defrancisCo, named one of the best shows of this year by the Chicago Tribune.
