Cinetopia - Kin Flicks 5
Cinetopia brings you a lean, mean and compelling thriller for the penultimate film in our Kin Flicks season. A seventeen year old must navigate his survival amongst an explosive criminal clan of volatile sociapaths, dominated by a ruthless matriach. This gritty, contemporary noir is said to be based on a real-life Melbourne family of drug traffickers. The drama is mainly fueled by the characters and the intense moments between them, creating an uneasy tension with the few sudden bursts of violence being more effective because of the uneasy calm they penetrate.
An evening with Cinetopia includes:
- a mystery feature film (you won't know what it is 'til its started),
