Appetite is proud to announce that we're hosting this opportunity for artists CPD at a heavily subsidised rate in association with a-n.
Created, developed and delivered by Frances Lord. This seminar enables artists either new to public art, or wishing to develop their practice in the commissioning field, to gain insight into practical issues such as making proposals, responding to briefs, working within budgets, dealing with contracts, copyright and other legal issues. The seminar will also look at the potential for artists to work on large-scale installations or interventions in the public sphere. The seminar starts with a slide show of nationally and internationally sourced public art and commissioning case studies to stimulate discussion. During the seminar we will look at: What sort of skills do you need?
