Appetite is proud to announce that we're hosting this opportunity for artists CPD at a heavily subsidised rate in association with a-n.
Collaborate Creatively is a half day seminar within a-n's Granted programme aimed at artists and arts organisers. Hosted by Appetite and led by Chris Fremantle, it looks at the behaviours and characteristics of collaboration. Participants will hear artists' experiences of collaboration and explore and identify frameworks for joint projects before considering the principles and approaches to creating collaborative relationships amongst artists and across into other disciplines and contexts. The seminar includes informal and facilitated discussion exploring how participants can realise their ambitions, with a hands-on workshop that highlights contexts for innovation and gives good practice guidance.
Chris Fremantle is a producer and researcher working particularly on art, ecology, science and health. He manages public art projects and works with practice-led research. He is currently managing the Therapeutic Design and Art Strategy for the New South Glasgow Hospitals, and working with Creative Scotland as one of the Producers on their national public art development programme. He contributes to the MFA Art Space and Nature at Edinburgh College of Art and established ecoartscotland in 2010 as a platform for research and practice.
Open to all artists and individuals working in the arts such as curators and project managers.
