Myah Robbins Book Launch: One Perspective From the End of the World
On November 13, 2022 at 3:00 P.M., 15-year old Myah Robbins will launch her first published book, titled One Perspective From the End of the World, a book of poetry written during the COVID-19 pandemic, at Tempest Studios, 140 Kelly Alley, State College, Pennsylvania, 16801.
Ms. Robbins, currently a sophomore at State College Area High School, is an award-winning local author, having won the grand prize in the 2021 under-18 category of the Poetry in a Time of Pandemic held by St. Andrews Church, a full scholarship to attend PSU science camp, and a creative writing merit scholarship to attend the Interlochen Arts Camp in the summer of 2022. Ms. Robbins lives in a family of eight.
In One Perspective From the End of the World, Ms. Robbins addresses issues of hope, loneliness and division felt by many during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Her poetry is a reminder that none of us are alone in our struggles during this dark period of time, and that hope prevails. With many of the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, now is the time to reconnect. Ms. Robbins poetry provides validation and understanding on many struggles we all faced during the pandemic, and her launch event will feature a reading, Q&A session, open mic, and light refreshments.
Signed copies will be available for purchase at the event. Contact robbinsmyah@gmail.com for further questions. Copies can also be purchased at Amazon.
