Sat, 3/1: Greta Matassa Trio- DON'T MISS THIS! Award-winning jazz vocalist and educator, Greta Matassa is coming in from Seattle for a special show at the Camellia Lounge Saturday March 1st! If you haven't heard this amazing vocalist, NOW IS THE TIME! Greta's incomparable style and delivery captivates audiences worldwide. Greta was voted "Northwest Vocalist of the Year" by Earshot Jazz seven times in 15 years! Her latest cd "I Wanna be Loved" Resonance Records remained on the national jazz charts for radio airplay for 3 months. This release features arrangements by the great Tamir Hendelman. Greta has toured Russia, Singapore, Hawaii and Japan, and has recently performed at New York's Dizzy's Club at Lincoln Center. She will be accompanied by her long time partner and recording artist, Clipper Anderson on bass and vocals. and Portland native Darin Clendenin on piano.
