Ukulele Strum Rehab: "Under the Boardwalk"

Are you bored with your strum? Let's learn to listen for a variety of rhythms in songs and learn to synchronize our strum with them on the fly. This lighthearted class will show you how to identify and use strum and rhythm building blocks to add more texture to your playing

"Under the Boardwalk" is a classic favorite, packed with opportunities to explore rhythms and techniques. It's great for all levels, with simple chords (G, C, D, Em & G7). You'll get the most out of the class if you can move with relative ease among those chords and be able to maintain a relatively steady basic strum.

NOTE: We don't cover baritone chords in this class and it's geared for high-G tunings, but the basic principles apply to all instruments. This class is online and live through Zoom, so there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get help. Geared for adults ages 18+.
