Maroon 5's own PJ Morton. He will be conducting a Master Class on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Louie's Modern banquet room, The Francis. The Master Class will be conducted from 1pm-3pm and will cover songwriting, placement, and artist options (indie vs label). He will have a piano in place also to field any questions pertaining to playing and song development. Later that evening there will be a LIVE Musical Showcase featuring the bands of two of Sarasota's Amazing Drummers in James Varnado and Etienne Porter. Between the two band sets we will Open the Mic for singer songwriters to share one original song. Slots for the Open Mic portion will be limited so come early and sign up or call 941 932-6269. We will end the showcase with PJ Morton joining the band to perform his Grammy Nominated single "Only One." Call 941 932-6269 for info. Menu and Cash Bar will be available for both the Master Class and the Musical Showcase/Open Mic. Children 12 years of age and older are welcome.
