Essence of Joy
Christmas music represents some of the
most joyful music composed! We sing
carols of different countries, familiar holiday
music and new compositions that express
the joy and mystery of the season. Our Christmas concert is
entitled Essence of Joy for that very reason! Soli Deo Gloria
presents carols from France, England, Ireland, and Germany
in new, exciting settings. The ensemble will perform stunning
arrangements of Ave Maria, O Magnum Mysterium, and Ave
Generosa that tell the nativity story with glorious harmonies.
We are thrilled to premiere an exciting new composition by
Dr. Walter Saul, based on the Ubi Caritas text. Familiar holiday
tunes and a festive carol sing-along round out the concert.
