On Saturday:
Celebrate Cesar Chavez Day by attending Sacramento's 14th Annual Cesar Chavez March and Celebration.
Meet Andy Nowak, Director of National School Garden Program and Brenda Ruiz from Slow Food Sac for a workshop on the new School Garden Manual
Meet our Slow Food California Ark of Taste Committee for hands-on help with identifying and boarding new products on the Ark of Taste
Talk Slow Meat with Matt Jones and Jon Gonzalez
Enjoy a screening of The Story of Slow Food starring Carlo Petrini *(requested) at the historic Guild Theater
Tour the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services programs and garden and learn how their innovation brings good, clean, and fair food to the region's hungriest families.
Join Slow Food Sacramento members for dinner at their favorite Snail of Approval restaurants (optional).

On Sunday:
Meet your counterpart leaders from Mexico Alfonso Rocha, and Canada Sinclair Philip to work on projects that cross our borders
Meet our Slow Food California Policy Committee and participate in a workshop with our pro bono lobbyist and policy partners
Meet the Slow Food California Snail of Appreciation Committee and experience Sacramento's successful Snail of Approval Program
Network with other chapters in your area in Regional Break out sessions
