Ninth annual performance fund raiser Benefitting The 418 Project
Temptation meets desire at this year's What Is Erotic? performance as Santa Cruz residents, some experienced performers and some new to the stage, create original art that answers this provocative question.
Explore the world of Pan and nymphs, Eve and the apple, and the ageless appeal of sex, through storytelling, theatre, dance and spoken word.
A tree turns into writhing bodies, a good angel and an evil angel struggle with their attraction, and a snake transforms into a beautiful woman; and that's just in the first ten minutes of the show.
Craig McLaughlin tells the spicy true tale of sex in an MG (yes, it's possible), Rosalee Wollman does raunchy stand-up comedy, and Michele Robbins and Mitch Lang perform a heart-stoppingly romantic duet. Other acts include hoop dance, theatre and modern dance. And you won't want to miss Nicole Nasr as the human clitoris.
What Is Erotic? is a queer-friendly show for people eighteen and over. Shows often sell out--don't wait to get your tickets early. All seating is general admission, so come early for the best seats. Doors open thirty minutes prior to show time for the "Erotic Salon," where costumed characters interact with the audience.
