And on Saturday, November 19, your special treat is Joe Craven, Peter Wilson and John Girton with their character packed blend of Swing, Jazz, unexplainable adventurous expression and positive vibes!

Joe Craven: An American freestyle folk, world and roots music multi-instrumentalist, singer and educator. He plays a wide variety of string instruments, including fiddle, mandolin, ukulele, tres, cavaquinho, balalaika, as well as Cuban bongos, pickling jar, a credit card, jawbone and anything else his mischievous magical hands can get ahold of. Joe is a well known artist and emcee at numerous acoustic music festivals and for many years, was violinist and percussionist for the David Grisman Quintet. A full life of creativity, Joes' a former museum curator, visual artist, actor/storyteller and recipient of the 2009 Folk Alliance Far-West Performer of the Year. He's made music with the likes of violinist Stephane Grappelli and Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia to multi-whirled string guy David Lindley, harmonica wizard Howard Levy and seven years recording and touring with banjo fusionist Alison Brown. Plus he's an absolute delight!
John Girton: Well known throughout the world for his work as lead guitarist with the group Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks. John recorded 3 albums with the group, and also wrote and arranged material for them. He was also featured as guitarist, saxophonist, clarinetist, and occasional mandolinist with the popular vocalist, Maria Muldaur for many years. His own group, the "Girtones" played a blend of jazz, swing and blues sometimes including singer Maria Muldaur as a member.
Peter Wilson: Yet another musician of clout and reputation, Peter has toured and performed since 1978 in coffeehouses, colleges, trains and nightclubs across the US and Canada. Hes a member of the Deadbeats a long running tip-of-the-hat to the music and songs of the Grateful Dead. Hes a founding member of Paul Emerys 1000 Kisses Deep The Songs of Leonard Cohen. Along with his songwriting cohorts, Mountain John Hilligoss and Moe Dixon, theyve written scores of songs, toured and released a studio CD Troubadour Camp. At home in Grass Valley, California Wilson has hosted radio variety shows and open mic. nights.
