Slow Food Toronto Ice Fishing Adventure on Family Day Weekend
Join us for the ultimate Slow Food Experience Perch Fishing on Lake Simcoe! All are welcome, both newcomers and seasoned anglers.
Experience the quintessential Canadian winter sport of ice fishing and catch your own lunch a true lake-to-table experience! Heated ice huts are equipped with trough holes allowing anglers to see the fish and choose which one to hook.
Chefs Tyler Shedden and Matthew Duffy of the Four Season's Cafe Boulud will guide you through filleting and cooking your own fresh catch right on the lake. Be sure to bring a side dish to share and your favourite local beverage.

Costs: $65 for Slow Food Members, $75 for Non-Members Added Bonus: This is Family Day Weekend, so Fishing Licenses are not required
Included: 6 hours ice-fishing, heated ice hut, bait, filet instructions, transportation from shore to ice huts, camping stoves
Please bring: Fishing rod, reel and tackle (rods and hooks are available for purchase onsite for $10), warm clothes, filet knife, cooler, Ziploc bags, a side dish to share and favourite local beverage.
Please note, participants are responsible for transportation from Toronto to Lake Simcoe. Directions will be forwarded upon sign-up.
