Comedy on Elm Street with Tony V, Jimmy Cash, more
Tony V., who recently performed with Bill Burr in the historic first comedy show ever at Fenway Park, tops the bill in a killer comedy show at the Elm Draught House Cinema, 37 Elm Street, Millbury on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door on show night.
Elm Draught House Cinema favorite Tony V. returns to Millbury not long after making history as the first comedian to take the stage at Fenway Park, opening for Bill Burr in August. Theres always something good going on with Tony, who has a popular comedy podcast with fellow comedian Jimmy Dunn called Two Boston Guys Whack Up a Pie and had a 2021 Amazon Prime standup special with Dunn called Two Boston Guys. Earlier this year he was featured in the movie Salesmen, adding to a film resume that also includes roles in The Town, My Best Friends Girl and the Robin Williams film Worlds Greatest Dad. Ryan Shea is a Boston based comic that has been a regular in the Boston clubs for the past 11 years. He performs all over the east coast, and is a former comic in residence at the reputable Comedy Studio in Cambridge. In 2016 he was asked to perform for the troops and asked back in 2017. Shea is honest, outspoken, and introspective. He brings high energy and points of view for everyone to enjoy. Worcester's Jimmy Cash is one of the hottest comedians in New England. Recognizable for (among other things) appearances on Plymouth Rock Insurance commercials on Boston sports events this year, he's played some of New England's best comedy stages including the Hampton Beach (NH) Comedy Festival and several theaters as the opening act for Bob Marley. Drawing from his experience as a father of a teenage daughter, an uncertain number of stepchildren, sobriety and 18 years as a public school janitor, Cash can be seen performing stand up at night as way to stay grounded. He was the 2021 winner of Mohegan Suns Last Comix Standing contest. Central Mass standup comedian and writer Kristy Kielbasinski is known as "Worcester's Funniest Mom." Puling inspiration from her life as a stay at home mom and housewife, she has appeared on TVs Chronicle and was a semifinalist at the Boston Comedy Festival. She has performed at theaters such as the Mass Arts Center in Mansfield and as part of the Massachusetts Funniest Person competition at Laugh Boston.
