Margot is a feminist icon, a writer whose ideas have shaped multiple generations. But she's coming up dry trying to write her newest book.
Molly is young, impressionable, and bitter after a lifetime of being discarded and dismissed.
Molly tries to take Margot hostage, but it proves harder than she thought. Margot's ego is impossible to chain, and when Margot's daughter Tess shows up in the middle of a full-blown breakdown, things get even messier. Tess's husband and a cab driver who demands to be listened to just add to the chaotic mix, and it seems like Molly might never get what she wants.
