The Afternoon Carriage House Salon Continues!: The Mattlock Duo
Exciting news!   The heartfelt, engaging performances of husband and wife, soprano Jenny Matteucci and pianist Daniel Lockert, continue to wow audiences throughout the Bay Area. Their music is varied and ranges from Fats Waller to the Great American Songbook with many surprises in between.  We are thrilled to be welcoming The Mattlock Duo to the Pardee Garden on Sunday, October 9th.

Soprano Jenny Matteucci is known for her flexibility of style.  As a young singer, she was active in the San Francisco theater and cabaret scene, where she continues to perform today.  Ms. Matteucci, in addition to teaching voice and performance classes,  is currently the conductor of the Festival Chamber Chorale, the Festival Chorus of Mendocino County, the FCCPA Chancel Choir, the FCCPA Women's Ensemble and the Palo Alto Oratorio Society.

Her husband, Daniel Lockert, is equally versatile on the piano, organ and harpsichord.  Daniel began formal piano studies at age five.  In his adult role as coach and teacher, he has been on the staff and faculty of the Julliard School, the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Opera San Jose, Chapman College, Oakland University, Cal. State East Bay, Mills College, Notre Dame de Namur University and the Aspen Music Festival.  Daniel is currently acting as coach/collaborator at Santa Clara University.

The garden is a lovely place to visit this time of year with flowering plants and shade from our grand old trees.  After the music we will have a champagne reception with light refreshments including savories, sweets and best of all: socializing!

Covid protocols will be followed with proof of vaccination required and a safe place to gather.

Reserve your table or space as soon as possible.  The cost is $25 per person with all proceeds going to the Pardee Home Museum.  Reservation can also be made by calling Richelle Lieberman @ 510.381.1973.

Please enter the Pardee Home Garden through the white gate on Castro St between 11th & 12th St.
