Jazz from France: Swing & Latin Jazz Quartet
The Sophisticated Ladies Swing & Latin Jazz quartet is a collective of women musicians from Bordeaux France. They breathe new life into the American and French standards we love from the golden era of the 1930's to the 1950s.
The Sophisticated Ladies will take you on a world tour with the harmonic richness of the compositions of the early composers, all the while marrying the compositions with rhythms from North and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa, which simply give one a desire to get up and dance.
