Wajeedah: Loves Grooves from the Heart
Vocalist, 'Wajeedah' (which means compassionate), has brought together Neo-Soul, Jazz and R&B into every song that she sings to create her unique vocal style. Wajeedah is a balladeer: very sensual with her deep raspy voice, which has also been described as mesmerizing. With every note she sings, you feel it, you believe the story she sings of, and this experience leaves audiences inspired. Additionally, Wajeedah is versatile enough to bring the in 'heat' of a rhythm with up-tempo beats. This concert will bring all these elements in play as Wajeedah will perform some familiar classics as well as introduce some original work.
