Lynn Hollyfield and Keely Hollyfield present a traditional Christmas concert at Cellar Stage™ Timonium

Lynn Hollyfield and bandmates come together to celebrate the holiday season at the Cellar Stage. Join us for an evening of uplifting music that will warm your heart with songs that capture the beauty of the Winter season and the charm of the Holidays. Lynn Hollyfield will be joined by her daughter Keely, and their family blend of harmonies promise to delight. Lynn and Keely will be joined by Dave Abe (mandolin, fiddles), Steve Wolf (bassist extraordinaire) and Jimmy Brink (percussion).
Lynn is a singer-songwriter with a big heart, and dabbles in various genres ranging from contemporary folk, pop and jazz. Her warm stage presence, catchy melodies and genuine lyrics, draw her listeners in. She is currently recording, a long anticipated, third solo album, of originals tunes. Hollyfields voice, described as rich, warm, inviting, is supported by her crisp, acoustic guitar style, with an occasional ukulele or mandolin thrown into the mix.
Dave Abe has been playing Irish traditional music since the late 1970s. He is known for his Donegal style of fiddle playing and his extensive knowledge of tunes from that region and has performed at numerous festivals and venues including the Birchmere, the National Cathedral, and the White House.
Steve Wolf on bass, currently performs with bluesmen Linwood Taylor and Memphis Gold and has toured internationally with many of the regions finest bands, The Nighthawks, and has backed an array of national artists including: Chuck Berry, The Coasters, Bo Diddley, Doctor John, The Marvelettes, Tom Principato, Danny Gatton, and Springsteen sax man Clarence Clemons. He remains an in-demand sideman.
Jimmy Brink is a Baltimore based percussionist and drummer who has been playing for 30 years. He spent five years in the United States Marine Corps Band and now plays with several local musical groups including The Chesapeake Pub Crawl, The Classroom Dragons, and The Racket. Jimmy is known for his impromptu, innovative drum solos. He is a dynamic percussionist who lays down succinct rhythm and grooves.
Doors open at 7:00 pm. General admission seating. Tickets are available at the door without service fee if paid by cash or check.
