Two maids plot the demise of their egotistical madame in this suspenseful and sexy French classic. The themes of class unrest and fame-seeking violence keep this script current as the audience is taken on a fantastical funhouse ride through the outsider world of Jean Genet.

Common Ground Theatre's "Small Series" is an innovative theatre offering by many of the best performers in the Triangle area. Selected artists are encouraged and supported by Common Ground Theatre to find classic one-acts to rehearse and present.
