Where? Studio 307 (307 Phelps Hall); Miami Hamilton campus

How much? FREE!

How's it work? Doors Open and sign up begins at 7:00 PM--You sign up to perform, but you are more than welcome to come and participate as an audience member as well.Free Slamming begins at 7:30 PM-- Everyone gets 10 minutes. You do not have to use the full 10 minutes, but you must limit yourself to 10 minutes. We end at approximately 9:00.

Who is invited to attend and perform? Anyone can participate--not just Miami students, faculty, staff, but also the entire community.

What type of material? Basically anything you can come up with

Of course poetry of any type of poetry
Monologues
Dance
Stand Up
Musicsinging, instrumental, singer-songwriter stuff (Electronic accompaniment available. We use Spotify and have disc and thumb drive options as well. Spotify is the most reliable format.
Prose recital
Improvisation
Academic or non-academic presentations
