CIE PRESENTS BRAZEN IMPACT MOVIE EVENT
Join CIE as we bring to you an ABSURD PRODUCTIONS PICTURES crime noir BRAZEN IMPACT!!
A movie event put together to raise funds for St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
APP presents a crime action film looking at a lawless organization, the governmental forces out to stop them, and the choices each makes when a crime boss (Clark Fox, Taste of Desperation) is knocked off. Multiple second tier bosses vie for power. Meanwhile, a task force of government agents and police veterans has assembled, led by a secret service operative (George Stover, Remnants), a hot head cop (Christopher Inlow), and his more grounded partner (Lisa Hoffmann), all watching over a lawyer (Sharron Smyth Lentz, Dark Shadows) that the crime syndicate looks to take out. Each decision deals a consequence as the two sides whittle down, gun play and a string of encounters determine each fate. Also featuring Helene Udy (My Bloody Valentine) as in all APP features, this unique film charts its own path with lots of twists, turns, and memorable characters while stealing clear of obvious crime film stereotypes and genre traits. Featuring an eclectic soundtrack of musical styles including trip hop, rock, industrial, soul, surf, country, rap, metal, electronica, and blues. Free DVDs and posters will be available (while supplies last).
