Work for Me/Works for Us
A Presentation by Filmmaker and Animator Emily Hubley Sunday, Mar 22, 13pm Instructor: Emily Hubley Tuition: $6 WigglyWorld Members, $9 General Public Max Attendance: 50
Emily Hubley has made short animated films for thirty years and provided animation to television, fictional and documentary films for over a decade. She recently completed her first feature film The Toe Tactic (2008). Hubley created artwork and animation for John Cameron Mitchells Hedwig and the Angry Inch and inserts for many documentaries including The Boy in the Bubble by Barak Goodman and Judith Helfands Everythings Cool. Collaborating to create segments which meet specific narrative/documentary needs is always exciting and that process is interesting to discuss in contrast to the more internal process of making personal work. Ms Hubley will share a selection of her short films and animated excerpts produced between 2001 and 2008.
The Toe Tactic will screen at NWFF on Mar 21 and 22.
