An intensive musical theater experience where students learn to sing, dance, and act in a full musical. Students should have at least acted in one musical before and be seeking a rigorous environment. Students will audition for both Newsies Jr. and Legally Blonde Jr. Preferences will be taken into consideration, but students in the intensives must remain open and may be cast in either production.

This Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action. Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899. Cady Heron is the new girl at North Shore High School in Chicago, desperate to fit in and find friends. Janis and Damian befriend the new girl, and when The Plastics set their sights on Cady, Janis convinces naive Cady to be their friend in order to bring down Queen Bee Regina Georges reign. Along the way, Cady loses herself, her friends, and her crush, all for the chance to be popular and loved. When dethroned Regina gets revenge by releasing the Burn Book, Cady is brought down and must mend her broken relationships with Janis, Aaron, and even Regina.
