Synopsis: "Music Dreams" is a dialogue-free animated short based on the true story of Lisa Jura, a young Holocaust survivor who, in 1938, escaped from Vienna to London on the Kindertransport. Set in 2021, "Music Dreams" centers on a lonely boy named Carlos and his brother; they too are refugees separated from their family. Lying awake at night, Carlos finds a piece of mysterious old sheet music that whisks him to late-1930s Europe, where he meets Lisa. Together, through music, Carlos and Lisa find resilience and stay connected to the families they had to leave behind.
