Adams & Costello in Concert

KALA welcomes Cannon Beach-based Americana roots rockers Adams & Costello in concert on Saturday, August 20 at 8 p.m. Tickets: $15. Online at www.brownpapertickets.com, and at the door upon availability. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The band also features Flynt Rice on drums, and Joe Lev on bass.

Adams & Costello will feature new material from their upcoming 3rd album. As with each of their albums, the two share songwriting and vocals. Michael Costello, a roots-blues rock veteran from Boston plays lead guitar, Julie Adams plays electric and acoustic rhythm. While their songwriting and vocal styles differ, Adams & Costello offer up a tasty intensity we love to rock to; vocals on the passionate edge, soulful guitar leads, and song lyrics we care about in these challenging times, Rise Up, One By One Wash These Sins, share a similar anthem.
