Bath Comedy Club: Revolution presents the best of local, national and international comedians on one intimate stage in a great new venue. This month's top line-up: MATT RICHARDSON Long-awaited return of Bath Comedy's prodigal son 11 years after winning our New Act Competition! Matt established himself as a seasoned comedy performer and won many awards whilst still in his teens, and went on to present on Virgin Radio and TV programmes Dancing On Ice, The Xtra Factor and countless others. Still fresh faced and full of beans, we're very excited to have him back in Bath again! "High wattage charisma" - The Guardian Winner: Bath Comedy Festival New Act Of The Year 2011 AARON SIMMONS Aaron Simmonds is an award winning comedian with cerebral palsy based in London that has been performing stand up (whilst sitting down) for 7 years. He has already performed at many clubs and accrued many TV & radio credits. Winner: Jewish Comedian of the Year 2017. Finalist: BBC New Comedian of the Year 2017. "His routine unfolded with great, measured skill. A class act" - Steve Bennett, Chortle "One of the best opening acts we've had in a long time" - Alex Boardman, The Comedy Store PLASTIC JEEZUS Plastic Jeezus have been making waves up and down the country with their hilarious and often surreal original songs, all delivered in their own unique, straight-faced way, and have performed with Mawaan Rizwan, Clinton Baptiste and Jess Robinson as well as at various festivals and comedy clubs. Winner: Best Newcomer, Musical Comedy Awards 2021 Listen to them on Bandcamp SAM HAWKINS Prominent up-and-coming local comedian, podcaster and organiser of "Pint and a Laugh" / Fast Fresh & Dirty comedy nights for up-and-comers at the Saracen's Head in Bath. HOLLY LEGGETT (MC) Holly runs her own podcast 'This Is Awkward!', and runs her own monthly night showcasing emerging talent from Bath and Bristol. "One of the most promising new comics on the Bath scene, Holly has got exponentially better every time I've see her perform - she's truly a star in the making" - Nick Steel, Bath Comedy 2 for 1 cocktails til 9pm.
