Music at the Marston: Concerts for Historic Preservation
Join us for joyful, end-of-summer music as we return to group programs at the Marston House Gardens. SOHO presents an outdoor, three-concert series of Americana, folk, country, blues, and all around "listenable" music showcasing some of San Diegos most celebrated singer-songwriters. SOHO is bringing together musicians with considerable talents from all over the county to kick off the first of what we hope will be more Music at the Marston programs.
The historic rose garden is a beautiful setting for the series. Performed round robin style, each concert features three artists sharing the stage, music, and stories, making for an intimate and engaging program for all.
Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Light refreshments will be available for purchase or feel free to bring your own, to pack in-pack out.
Featured artists throughout the concert series are September 2 - Donn Bree, Dana Duplan, and Lindsay White September 16 - Sandé Lollis, Mark Montijo, and Eric Neilson September 30 - Jeff Berkley, Bobo Czarnowski, and Thea Tochihara
The Marston House Museum Shop will be open especially for concertgoers. Take advantage of your membership discount of 15% when shopping and perhaps even get a jump on your holiday gift list. Your purchases fund historic preservation.
SOHO events aim to raise awareness about historic preservation and the special sense of place that historic buildings, sites, and landscapes bring to our daily lives. Proceeds raised from ticket sales and donations will directly support the musicians, and arts and culture programming for the Marston House.
The health and wellbeing of our members and supporters, as well as our staff and volunteers, is our first priority and masks are appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.
