Agile Product Owner & Product Backlog Workshop (4/22/14)
What You Will Learn:
Participants learn intermediate-level and advanced Product Backlog (PB) development techniques in this course. Students learn how to:
Engage in PB development and refinement, using techniques developed by the instructor over a 6-year period; Compose requirements and break them down into small-enough sizes that are right for Sprint Planning;
Identify problems with the Product Backlog and address them, in advance of Sprint planning;
Learn specific techniques that can facilitate the routine and ongoing development of READY Product Backlog;
Prepare to facilitate or participate in ongoing, collaborative PB development and refinement.
This course places a special emphasis is placed on defining what "READY" means and how to get the backlog items (the requirements)scrum.org into the READY state.
Who Should Attend:
Team members that help develop, refine and decompose the requirements in the Product Backlog;
Product Owners who must lead the effort of PB creation and refinement;
Professional Agile coaches, Scrum Masters and in-house Agile champions, and others who will facilitate the process of Product Backlog creation & grooming;
Managers, business analysts, executives and leaders of all stripes who are interested in implementing Agile methods in their organizations.

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending this meeting (hereafter the Event), you are explicitly authorizing us to capture pictures, video, and audio recordings of your image and voice and to use these recordings in promotion of our events. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you are agreeing explicitly to indemnify and hold harmless the following parties from any and all claims, including but not limited to any loss, damage, or legal liability related to attendance: a) the venue provider, b) the event promoters, c) anyone and everyone else even remotely associated with the execution of the Event event in any way, whatsoever. The Event promoter reserves the right to refuse and/or revoke admittance to anyone at any time, subject only to refunding within 30 days any dollar price paid for said admittance.
