Bellingham City Club Program January 22nd
On January 22nd, for our first City Club program of 2014, Bellingham Mayor Kelli Linville and County Executive Jack Louws will join us. We heard from them in 2011 when they were candidates for their current offices. Now they will speak with us about their expectations when they first took office, what they have accomplished during their first two years, and what challenges and opportunities they see ahead for Bellingham and Whatcom County for the next two years and beyond.
Mayor Linville previously served for seventeen years as State Representative from the 42nd district. Executive Louws was elected to a four-year term on the Lynden City Council, and later served as Lynden's mayor for eight years. We are very pleased that they have agreed to share their political insights and experiences with us.
