If you aren't familiar with Jack McMahon's music, you may still recognize him as that friendly guy at Music Millennium who usually knows what you're looking for before you do. Just give him a couple of your air guitar chords and a line of the lyric and he'll lead you right to it. Jack's musical resume starts on the east coast as a favorite demo artist for Gerry Goffin and opening for the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Steely Dan, and continues as one of the most popular singer-songwriters regularly fronting a band around the Northwest. Tough to pin down, Jack is equally at home with a solo guitar or a ten-piece funk band. In our case, we'll listen to the guitar and imagine the horn section.

The regulars will be Cal Scott, jack-of-many-genres who writes and performs with The Trail Band and tours the world with Irish fiddler Kevin Burke, and the word-witty and tunewise Richard Moore, likely to share a few scenes from "Rain," his musical-in-the-works about Portland.
