The Stonewall Chorale, our nation's first LGBTQ chorus, and Cynthia Powell, Artistic Director, present a moving performance of John Rutter's Requiem, along with John Tavener's Song for Athene, and more.
Joining us for our performances is Grammy nominated singer and composer Theo Bleckmann, whose work defies description but which can certainly be called magical, brilliant, and thought-provoking.
This year's Spring Concert is dedicated to those affected by bias crimes aimed at LGBTQ individuals. Violence directed toward members of our community is on the rise, even in liberal enclaves such as Manhattan. Through our performance, we honor those upon whom violence has been inflicted, we endeavor to promote their healing and the healing of those who have committed violence, and we memorialize all who have lost their lives due to hatred and ignorance, as well as those who have taken their own lives in desperation.
Please choose your desired performance from the drop down menu below and verify that the correct date is selected prior to finalizing your order.
Note that advanced ticket sales close 12 hours before each event. Tickets may be purchased on the day of the show for $30 per ticket, subject to availability.
