Due to Covid-19, the band will be be delaying their tour.
The show is moving from 8/19 to 10/7 in the same venue and same start times.
AVANT NIGHT and THE BOX present: RABBIT RABBIT RADIO Live in a Closed Set Studio Filming Session on The Box Media Space Soundstage. This very special performance will be filmed and only have seating for 75 attendees.
Rabbit Rabbit Radio began as the creative song-spinning duo of Carla Kihlstedt and Matthias Bossi. They are sometimes joined by Jeremy Flower and Jon Evans, but this summer, they jump into their van and tour as a duo. (They may be joined by their 8-year-old guitar-shredding son, Viggo, for a song or two.)
The music of Rabbit Rabbit Radio draws on their collective love of art song, folk song, industrial music, improvised music, heart-wrenching balladry, and a good 3-chord rock song. If you listen closely, youll hear traces of their many musical associations Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Skeleton Key, Tin Hat, The Book of Knots, Fred Friths Cosa Brava but this project is their own personal challenge: a dare to peel it all back to reveal a music that is stripped down and intimate, and all the more powerful for it.
Since 2012, on the first day of every month (with a few minor interruptions) Rabbit Rabbit Radio has released a new song to their subscribers. Then at the end of each year they release the collection as an album.
