SPLINTER DANCE COMPANY ~ An Art of JUSTICE Performance
Splinter Dance Company is composed of a diverse group of professional dancers from Seattle who have come together to enhance community awareness of critical social issues. Splinter uses dance and movement-theater in their educational work confronting the issues of racism, sexism, violence, the needs of the poor and the importance of unity in diversity. They will inspire you to think critically about and work to confront these issues. Splinter's repertoire ranges in styles from hiphop and breakdance, to lyrical, salsa, contemporary and jazz.
This event is a fund-raiser that will support the work of the Splinter Dance Company and the Center for the Study of Justice in Society at Seattle University.
