Re-ROOTED: The Untold Story of Tokyo Shamisen Music by Tatsu Aoki & Shimenawa by Melody Takata

Melody Takata's Japanese American dance narratives unleash women from traditional roles with the sounds of taiko and painted imagery by poet performer Genny Lim.
