The plot of the film revolves around a murderer killing fishermen with an oversized fishhook during a Wisconsin fishing festival. Peter van Cleese's grandfather went missing 17 years ago. Peter and his friends have returned to his inherited lake house during the annual "Muskie Madness" fishing competition. As people begin to disappear, Peter tries to solve the mystery.
