Salmon Jam Music Festival
Mt Eyak Ski Area
Cordova, AK
Share this event:

An authentic Alaska community, the surprisingly artsy, coastal town of Cordova lives and breathes fishing. Every July, through this family-friendly festival, local nonprofits and loads of volunteers come together to raise awareness of the regions rich resources and raise funds to support art opportunities with 2 days of live music, a wild food sampler, running events and free kids activities. There's also an artisan craft fair and lots of fun for all ages at Cordovas beautiful Mt. Eyak Ski Area.

Included in your ticket:
*Over 3 hours of music on Friday, plus Fire Dance performance by Zachary Hun
*Over 6 hours of music on Saturday
*Small Fry activities
*Taste of Cordova
* Artisan Craft Fair
* so much more happening on the hill
* PLUS Zen Trembles BONUS Teaser concert at the Reluctant Fisherman Inn on Thursday night at 10pm!

We're excited to bring back LIVE music on the hill this year! The jam is more "Concert in the Park" style so everyone can spread out, get comfortable with their own blankets and chairs and enjoy the music out from under the big tent. Each day will offer hours of live music, highlighting local musicians such as Keys on Fire, Repeat Offenders, and also featuring our guest artists from Anchorage, Zen Trembles. Kaloku Holt with the Ke Kukui Foundation will join us Friday evening with a special dangerously fascinating fire dance performance by Zachary Hun!

By purchasing a ticket, you are supporting the performers and Cordova's arts council: Cordova Arts & Pageants, which brings artists from all over the world to perform for the community of Cordova and share their art in the schools all year long. In 2020, with everything on hold, Cordova Arts & Pageants was pleased to be able to support over 20 local artists with a COVID Arts Relief Grant they created. These artists' work is currently on exhibit in the Copper River Gallery at the Cordova Center and can be viewed until July 30, 2022.

This event will occur rain or shine. There are NO refunds. If the weather is awful (ie. high winds and sheets of rain), the event will be moved to the Cordova Jr/Sr High School gymnasium so we can still have space to DANCE!

All volunteers receive $5 discount off entry. Volunteers will receive a coupon to redeem at the gate. If you are a volunteer, you can only purchase your ticket at the gate. Thanks for helping the festival!
