A Granville Island Innovative Idea Exchange: Powered by PechaKucha
Experience an innovative idea exchange with Granville Island artists, artisans, architects, designers, actors, directors, curators and producers.
The first PechaKucha was devised in 2003 by architects in Tokyo to attract people to their experimental event space, to exchange ideas and to show their work to the public. Since then hundreds of cities have hosted PechaKucha nights worldwide.
The format is concise and fast-paced to allow for multiple-speakers and ideas. Speakers present 20 images of their work and talk about each image for up to 20 seconds.
