The Complex

I'm Kevin Brady, an actual apartment manager. I play myself in this show. The Complex is a play about my unique experiences managing for over 10 years. It centers around two incredible stories base on actual events.

One story focuses on a female tenant who mysteriously disappeared from my apartment complex a few years ago. When cleaning her apartment I found numerous letters written to her by her boyfriend living in King County Correctional facility hidden behind a drawer. These letters are read verbatim as we examine what might have happened to her.

Another story focuses on two mentally ill tenants who happen to be best friends. One is a raging alcoholic who believes everything is a building emergency. The other is an unkempt, chatty, kleptomaniac who resides in a filthy apartment with 5 dogs. Their friendship takes a turn for the worst after a set of alarming yet bizarre circumstances.
