Romance is a distant memory for two lonely animal-lovers living in Dublin. When forlorn Dan and his dog Chapatti cross paths with the amiable Betty and her nineteen cats, an unexpected spark begins a warm and gentle story about two people re-discovering the importance of human companionship.
It is also a wonderful and positive story about the power of connecting with someone suffering from depression, and also how our beloved pets can be a healthful part of our journey to wellness. IT HAS A WONDERFUL HAPPY ENDING.
*This play, by Irish playwright William O'Neill, has some language and there is a story thread about suicide. It therefore may not be suitable for youth under the age of 14, but patrons will make their own judgement about that.
