New York City Community Chorus Presents: Change is in the Air
The last couple of years have not been easy. (Ask us about trying to rehearse a choir on Zoom.) Global political, social, and environmental concerns can be overwhelming. In one of the songs we sing, Sting reminds us HOW FRAGILE WE ARE. Sam Cooke promises in another song, A CHANGE IS GONNA COME. Women are marching now, encouraging each other to MAKE THEM HEAR YOU, and Bob Dylan warns: SENATORS, CONGRESSMEN...THERE'S A BATTLE OUTSIDE RAGIN.'
Please come hear us on these great songs and rock out on our audience sing-alongs. And above all, DON'T STOP BELIEVIN.'
The chorus will be joined by guest singers Emily Goes, Jahneen Otis, and Cameron Cave, along with the Bob Dee Trio (Bob Dee on guitar, Karl Kaminski on bass, Joe Foster on drums.)
Saturday, June 11th, at 6:30, at the Church of the Holy Apostles, Ninth Avenue at 28th Street in Manhattan.
Audience must show proof of full vaccination at the door. Chorus has been vaccinated and will be tested that day.
