Go with Steve on his journey through time and memory, in this theatrical memoir and manifesto, set backstage at this venue after a performance of this very show, the artistic director of Asheville's Magnetic Theatre helps a woman he hasn't seen since high school understand what he's done for the last four decades and how he's landed here, with stops along the way at London's Fringe; in a rural, communal troupe in upstate New York; with the world's most celebrated avant-garde comic troupe, situated in the heart of Greenwich Village; at the national organization for America's not-for-profit theatres; at one of the largest regional theatres in the country; and finally, after a long, self-imposed exile, in Western North Carolina, where an extraordinary group of people drew him back into a revolution in the making of new plays.
