You Are the Sky

Come see Walden's amazing 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Upper Group Class of 2022 starring in "You Are the Sky."

Is it a musical? A spoken word songspiel? A dance recital? We like to think of it as a "Hip Hopera," an urban-infused adaptation of Shakespeare's "Rome and Juliet," that embraces and challenges Shakespeare's original ending to bring new light to the story as we hope to embrace and be agents of change as we emerge from the turbulence of a global pandemic with a new sense of hope and purpose.

COVID-19 Guidance

1.) Proof of up-to-date vaccination; OR
2.) Proof of Negative Covid-19 test (PCR test taken within 24 hours or rapid antigen test administered the day of the performance). Proof can be shown with a paper printout of test results, a screenshot of test results, or a photograph of a negative test card.

We additionally request that individuals attending wear well-fitted N95 or KN95 masks at all times while in the theater.

Through the incredible vigilance and caution of its community, Walden Center & School has successfully prevented any in-school transmission of COVID-19. We ask that individuals attending the performance apply that same vigilance and abstain from attending if they feel any symptoms of illness. Please help keep our children and community healthy.

In addition, we hope to have rapid tests to send home with students for family members who will be attending the play and we encourage optional testing on the morning of attendance as an added layer of safety for everyone who will be indoors together at the performances.

All attendees must wear masks before, during, and after the performances while inside the theatre.
There is also a chance that all attendees may need to health screen. If so, that will be announced as performance time arrives.
