The End of Anthropocene
Join us for the end-of-season Brio Training Company shows!
The End of Anthropocene is an exploration of climate denial and the problems that the younger generation is inheriting. This ensemble circus show includes acrobatics, contortion, trapeze, and more. Each student will use their theater skills and circus disciplines to express feeling about their future, from grim to hopeful. The End of Anthropocene is performed by The Circus Project's Brio students and directed by Alexander Smith, Kari Hunter, and Saidah Poinsette.
- Friday 27th at 7:00 pm - Saturday 28th at 7:00 pm
Ticket Price: $0 - $20 Sliding scale. No one turned away for lack of funds, however you must reserve a ticket in advance to guarantee admission.
Covid precautions: Masks and proof of Covid-19 vaccination are required for entry. No food or drinks will be available at the show. The performers will be unmasked while on stage.

The Circus Projects main entrance is wheelchair accessible. There is a 17-foot long concrete ramp to access the front door, which is 33 inches wide (and somewhat heavy).
Parking for The Circus Project is street parking, and visitors with mobility needs are welcome to temporarily pull into the small shared parking lot in front of The Circus Project as a drop-off location. We also have a parking lot with 3-hour parking behind the building. The studio is a short distance from bus stops (24), and streetcar (A/B)
The Circus Project has an all-user, wheelchair-accessible bathroom, including a support bar, on the ground floor. There are two additional all-user, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms in the back hallway of the ground floor, shared by multiple businesses.
Seating can be rearranged as needed to accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility aids. If you need a seat closer/further from the stage due to hearing or vision needs please contact info@thecircusproject.org in advance to reserve a space.
ASL Interpreting available upon request - let us know which night youd like to attend and well make sure there is an interpreter there.
There will be no food/beverages served - sips of water OK.
We request that visitors do not use synthetic fragrances such as perfume or cologne while in our studio.
